Both Jim Powell and Jon Beeby studied at Medway College of Art and Design and have worked in the same workshop since 1990 where a reputation for quality in design and manufacturing have been forged. 	Over the years Goldsmith Craft Council Awards have been won in a number of disciplines, spanning from design to smithing, the manufacture of very detailed scale models and small work.
The design side of the business led to, an opportunity to design a wide range of objects d’art for Cartier, and the manufacture of one of a kind pieces. Over the last few years a wide range of commissions have been carried out including designing jewellery and silverware, models for the British Army, a mobile telephone in gold with a diamond encrusted key pad and some interesting torchier wall lights for the designer Jocelyn Burton.		"From a slow start, this business has grown steadily stronger, in the next few years a range of stylish hand made silver and gold products are to be designed and produced in house to be sold through this site"
